THE OFFICE of the Vice President, led by Undersecretary and Chief of Staff Atty. Zuleika T. Lopez, officially opened the Davao leg of the OVP’s 90th Anniversary Exhibit at the Atrium of SM City Davao.

The exhibit celebrates the office’s nine decades of service and honors the fourteen Vice Presidents of the Philippines, from Vice President Sergio Osmeña of the Commonwealth period to the country’s current second-highest-ranking official, Vice President Sara Zimmerman Duterte.

“This exhibit is a visual testament to their legacy. It moves beyond dates and names to show the evolution of the Vice Presidency—a story of service, succession, and unwavering commitment to the Filipino people,” said Oscar Casaysay, head of the Davao City Office of Culture and the Arts.

The exhibit also traces the OVP’s journey across various locations around the archipelago, reflecting the institution’s resilience through war, revolution, crisis, and political transitions.

“This unique responsibility demands a particular kind of dedication—one that finds purpose in preparation, meaning in service, and fulfillment in working for the people. Their legacy teaches us that true public service is measured by impact, not position,” said Regina Rosa D. Tecson, lead of the OVP Davao Satellite Office.
