THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) has stepped up its investigative efforts following a recent robbery-hold-up incident in the city, vowing swift justice and accountability.

On Oct. 7, 2026, DCPO chief PCOL Peter Bauzon Madria presided over a case conference to evaluate the latest developments and map out the next steps in tracking down the perpetrators.

Investigators and unit officers presented progress reports during the meeting, focusing on synchronized investigative tracks aimed at identifying and cornering the suspects.

Following the conference, Madria led a direct field investigation to thoroughly assess the crime scene and verify leads on the ground.

Underscoring the vital role of community policing, the DCPO leadership appealed to the public for actionable intelligence.

Residents and local stakeholders who may have witnessed the incident or possess relevant information are urged to come forward to help law enforcement secure a rapid arrest.

“The collective vigilance of the community is essential in ensuring peace, order, and the protection of every Davaoeño,” the DCPO stated, emphasizing its ongoing commitment to handling pressing security concerns with urgency, transparency, and resolve.
