TAGUM CITY – The Palm Court Tagum City played host to the Palm Court Beginners’ League on Saturday, March 7.

The event, an initiative of Palm Court with First Serve as the organizer, saw a full day of action dedicated to introducing newcomers to the thrill of competitive play.

The tournament was designed for beginner-level players eager to develop their skills. So, instead of the intensity of professional circuits, Palm Court created an atmosphere of camaraderie, learning, and friendly competition.

The initiative aims to bridge the gap between casual practice and organized sport by providing a structured yet low-pressure environment.

Throughout the day, participants took to the courts not just to win, but to gain experience, build confidence on the court, and cultivate a deeper passion for one of the fastest-growing sports in the country.

Palm Court hopes to see the Beginners League as a launchpad for building a strong, vibrant community of local players at the grassroots level and for ensuring the sport’s continued growth in the region.
