CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines — Cagayan de Oro is gearing up to welcome thousands of runners from across the country as the EastWest Dream Run 2026 arrives at Limketkai Center on October 18, turning the City of Golden Friendship into the latest destination for one of the Philippines’ fastest-growing running events. Actor, singer, and EastWest Brand Ambassador Donny Pangilinan will join participants on race day, adding to the excitement surrounding the event.
A major highlight of the Cagayan de Oro leg is its race route, which will pass through the BCI Highway. Known for its long, relatively flat, and straight stretches, the course offers runners an excellent opportunity to pursue a personal-best finish while enjoying a safe and accessible course.
Demand for the race has been strong, with the 3K, 5K, and original 10K categories already sold out. Organizers have since opened additional 10K slots to accommodate more participants eager to experience the Cagayan de Oro leg. The event will feature 1K Dog Run, 3K, 5K, 10K, and 21K categories.
Adding to the excitement, participants will get the chance to run alongside Donny Pangilinan, making the event a must-join experience for both runners and fans.
