MONTEFRIO GARDEN Resort will celebrate its six years of highland escape and panoramic views of Mount Apo for the month of July, offering discounts for guests and conducting corporate social responsibility activities.
Luis Enrico Salazar, senior sales and marketing executive, said this year’s anniversary will be more about giving back to the communities that supported MonteFrio’s growth and tourism. Events, such as a tree-planting activity, are scheduled for July 7 and a feeding program for the students of Apolandia Elementary School on July 8.
“We haven’t had a very big CSR (community social responsibility) ever since. We’ve been doing CSR, but most likely just a small CSR. Now we’re shifting onto giving back to the community,” Salazar said during PEP Talks on Friday, June 26.
“We decided to make it different from last year. So most probably the next big events similar to last year will come on the 8th anniversary,” he added.
During the monthly celebration, MonteFrio features a weekday special of 10% discount on all room types, such as Villa, Superior, Barkada, and Family, with inclusions of a complimentary buffet breakfast and swimming pool access.
This also includes discount giveaways on all the food and beverage outlets at the resort, in restaurants and cafes.
MonteFrio’s Philippines’ first Sky Swing with a 100-foot swiveling drop experience, launched last month, will also be highlighted with rates starting at P400 for single and P700 for tandem, which will operate from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
