Diarog slay linked to land-grabbing
By Nef Luczon
RELATIVES of the murdered chieftain of the K’lata-Bagobo community in Sitio Kahusayan, Tugbok District believed the murder was related to land-grabbing activities in the area as they rejected the theory of the military that members of the New People’s Army gunned him down. Dolito Diarog, Dominador’s relative, said there have been 64 members of the indigenous communities since the 1990s whose murders were related to land-grabbing activities in the area.
