FIRST Standard Finance Corporation-Davao Branch marked its 26th year on Sept. 8, 2026, with a warm, meaningful celebration centered on gratitude, fellowship, environmental responsibility, and teamwork.
The week-long observance brought together moments of reflection, shared meals, community engagement, and friendly competition—honoring the company’s journey and the people who continue to shape it: 26 years of shared purpose. The anniversary celebration reflected the company’s enduring commitment to its people, its community, and its continuing journey forward.
The celebration opened with a Eucharistic Mass, providing a meaningful beginning to the anniversary observance. It offered an opportunity to pause with gratitude, reflect on the company’s 26-year journey, and look ahead with renewed purpose. As the first gathering of the week-long celebration, the Mass set a warm and reflective tone for the activities that followed.
Following the Mass, employees gathered for a fellowship lunch. The occasion created space for colleagues to connect, share a meal, and celebrate the milestone together in a spirit of camaraderie. The lunch highlighted the value of fellowship in the workplace—strengthening relationships and honoring the shared effort behind First Standard Finance Corporation’s continuing story.
As part of its anniversary observance, First Standard Finance Corporation conducted a mangrove tree-planting and coastal clean-up activity in partnership with Tambongon Fisherfolks Association (TAMFIAS), located at Purok Libra, Tambongon, Lasang, Davao City, Philippines. This marked the company’s second year conducting the activity, reaffirming its commitment to environmental responsibility and meaningful community engagement. Through the initiative, the anniversary celebration extended beyond the workplace and into a shared effort to care for the coastal environment.
Sports Day completed the week-long celebration with an energetic display of teamwork and camaraderie. Team Davao and Team Tagum came together in friendly competition, with basketball, volleyball, badminton, and pickleball among the games contested. More than a series of games, the activity celebrated collaboration, sportsmanship, and the strong connections that make fellowship an important part of company life. In the end, Team Tagum emerged as the overall champion!
