Makati City, Philippines — Security Bank Corporation (PSE:SECB) has been named the highest-ranked Philippine company in TIME and Statista’s World’s Best Companies 2026, a global ranking based on revenue growth, employee satisfaction, and sustainability transparency.
The recognition places Security Bank among 1,000 leading companies worldwide and reflects the Bank’s progress in building a stronger business, an engaged workforce, and a more sustainable organization.
Now in its fourth edition, World’s Best Companies evaluates companies using financial performance data, employee surveys, and ESG indicators.
“Being the highest-ranked Philippine company is a meaningful recognition of the progress we’re making,” said Victor Lee, President and CEO of Security Bank. “It reflects the strength of our business, the commitment of our people, and the trust our clients place in us. As we look ahead, our focus remains clear: execute our strategy, grow responsibly, and deliver BetterBanking experiences for our customers.”
Employee satisfaction is a key pillar of the ranking, drawing on employee feedback gathered through large-scale surveys across countries and industries.
“What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that our people helped shape it,” said Nerissa Berba, Chief People Officer of Security Bank. “Our ‘You Matter’ employee value proposition guides how we support our people’s growth, well-being, and success. When our people thrive, our customers and our business benefit too.”
Sustainability transparency accounts for one-third of the overall assessment, covering environmental, social and governance performance and disclosure. Security Bank also maintains an MSCI ESG Rating of ‘A’.
“Strong performance and responsible growth must go together,” said John David Yap, Chief Financial Officer and Sustainability Committee Chairman of Security Bank. “This recognition reinforces the progress we are making in governance, transparency and sustainability, and in embedding these into how we manage risk, allocate capital and build long-term value.”
Security Bank’s No.1 Philippine ranking comes as the Bank celebrates its 75th anniversary, marking another milestone in its BetterBanking journey.
