₱201-K in shabu, revolver seized in Davao City drug bust

POLICE seized over ₱200,000 worth of suspected shabu and a handgun following a buy-bust operation at 3:05 p.m. in Sta. Ana on Wednesday, July 8.

​According to Police Station 1, under acting station commander PMAJ Marc Hedssel M. Culaste, the sting operation resulted in the arrest of suspected drug peddlers. Confiscated during the operation were suspected Methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) with an estimated street value of ₱201,280, alongside a .357-caliber revolver.

​Davao City Police Office (DCPO) director PCOL Peter Bauzon Madria commended the Sta. Ana police personnel for the operation, attributing the success to tightened coordination between local law enforcement, barangay officials, the Davao City local government, and community informants.

​The suspects are currently in police custody and face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (R.A. 9165) and the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act (R.A. 10591).

₱210-K in shabu seized: Three street-level pushers busted in Agdao drug sting

THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) arrested three street-level drug personalities and seized over ₱210,000 worth of illegal drugs during a buy-bust operation in Agdao on Wednesday evening, July 1, 2026.

The operational sweep resulted in the confiscation of an estimated ₱210,800 worth of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as shabu.

Police Station 16 (Ma-a) operatives, led by commander PMAJ Philip Dave A. Uddin, led the sting operation at around 6:27 p.m. in Purok Santa Cruz, Barangay Leon Garcia, Agdao District.

The operation was carried out in close coordination with the 1st and 2nd mobile force companies.

DCPO director PCOL Peter Bauzon Madria commended the operating units for their accomplishment.

The three suspects are currently under police custody, facing a formal charge for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

P290-K shabu seized in early morning Buhangin buy-bust; regional high-value target netted

POLICE operatives arrested a regional-level high-value drug target following an early morning buy-bust operation in Barangay Buhangin on Sunday, June 21.

Personnel from the Buhangin Police Station (PS5), led by station commander PMAJ Clarian Dave Toboso, intercepted the suspect at 7:06 a.m. at the corner of Carpio Subdivision along Cabantian Road, right beside the Esperanza Complex.

The sting operation yielded suspected shabu, with an estimated standard drug price value of ₱290,496.

Davao City Police Office (DCPO) director PCOL Peter Bauzon Madria praised the PS5 operatives for the arrest, citing the operation as a major disruption to local distribution networks.

“This accomplishment underscores the strong partnership between the Davao City Police Office, Barangay officials, the local government of Davao, and the vigilant support of the Davaoeño community,” Madria said in a statement. “It is a testament to the city’s collective determination to eradicate illegal drugs and protect our people.”

The identity of the regional-level target is being withheld by authorities pending the filing of formal charges.

The suspect is currently under police custody and faces charges for violating Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

Drug suspect nabbed in early morning sting; ₱748-K worth of shabu seized

A WOMAN classified as a high-value individual (HVI) was arrested in an early morning buy-bust in Barangay 76-A on Friday, yielding nearly a million pesos worth of suspected shabu.

The suspect,  identified only as alias Lovely, 23, was apprehended at approximately 6:27 a.m. on Feb. 6, 2026, at her residence in Purok 1, Bucana.

According to the police report, an undercover officer acting as a poseur-buyer purchased one sachet of suspected shabu from the suspect. Following the transaction, authorities recovered two additional large heat-sealed sachets of the illegal substance.

Aside from the shabu, with an estimated standard drug price of ₱748,000.00, operatives also recovered the ₱1,000 genuine buy-bust bill and eight pieces of ₱1,000 boodle money, an iPhone, and a rechargeable shaver box used to conceal the contraband.

The City Drug Enforcement Unit, Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit XI, City Intelligence Unit, the 1st and 2nd City Mobile Force Companies, and the Sta. Ana Police Station led the joint operation.

For now, the suspect is in police custody and will face a charge for violation of Republic Act 9165 (The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

Ulas drug den dismantled

AUTHORITIES seized ₱119,000 worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation in Purok 40-A, Barangay Upper Ulas, on Jan. 24, which also resulted in the dismantling of a drug den.

PDEA XI spokesperson Nephi Noli Dimaandal reported that the operation, conducted at approximately 5:05 p.m., led to the arrest of the alleged den maintainer, identified as Efren, 48.

The arrest was made after the suspect sold a one-gram sachet of suspected shabu worth ₱7,000 to an undercover agent.

Three other individuals, identified by their aliases Fhel, Rolando, and Ronie, were also apprehended during the raid.

The PDEA XI Regional Special Enforcement Team-Davao City, National Bureau of Investigation Southeastern Mindanao, and Police Precinct 15 (Ecoland Police Station) launched the operation.

Law enforcers recovered 11 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 16 grams with an estimated street value of ₱112,000, along with various drug paraphernalia and the marked buy-bust money.

The suspects are now in custody and will face charges for violations of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

PDEA XI  shuts down Sta. Cruz drug den; ₱200-K in ‘shabu’ seized

AUTHORITIES dismantled a suspected drug den and arrested three individuals during a targeted buy-bust operation in Barangay Zone 1 on Wednesday morning, Jan. 21.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) XI, in coordination with the Davao del Sur Provincial Police, conducted the sting at approximately 11:05 a.m. in Sitio Tacub.

Authorities identified the primary target as 23-year-old alias Gaw, the alleged maintainer of the facility. 

The arrest was made after the suspect reportedly sold a 1.5-gram sachet of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, commonly known as shabu, to an undercover agent for ₱8,000.

Also apprehended during the raid were “Alias Giovanie,” a suspected employee of the den, and a visitor identified as “Alias Alnajer.”

During the subsequent search of the premises, PDEA agents recovered seven heat-sealed sachets containing roughly 25 grams of suspected shabu. 

The seized illegal drugs have an estimated street value of ₱200,000.

Aside from the drugs, officers also recovered sachets with residue, various drug paraphernalia, and the marked buy-bust money.

The suspects are currently in custody and will face charges for violating sections 5, 6, 7, and 11 of Republic Act 9165   (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

P673-K worth of shabu seized in Davao City drug bust

MORE THAN P600,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized from two individuals in a buy-bust operation conducted early Thursday morning, Sept. 18, around 3:22 a.m. in Purok 8-A, Riverbed, Barangay 21-C.

Police only identified them as Madam, a 43-year-old female resident of Barangay Agdao Proper, and Alias Andoy, a 31-year-old male resident of Purok 3B, Barangay 23-C.

The Sta. Ana Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit, in coordination with the PDEA, recovered 99 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P673,200. 

The seized evidence also included five sachets of the illegal drug and P1,000 in marked buy-bust money. The suspects were arrested for violating Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

Police arrest high-value target in drug bust, seize P244-K in shabu

POLICE arrested a high-value individual and seized suspected shabu valued at an estimated P244,800 during a buy-bust in Purok 6, Santan Street, Barangay Mintal, Tugbok District at 1:38 a.m. on Saturday, July 12. 

Authorities identified the suspect as alias Tingoy, 23, a construction worker residing in Purok 18, Barangay Mintal.

Captain Hazel Caballero, the spokesperson of the Davao City Police Office (DCPO), said the police classified him as the top three regional-level high-value individual in the illegal drug trade.

Personnel from the Tugbok Police Station and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) XI conducted the operation.

During the operation, authorities seized a sachet containing suspected shabu, serving as the object of sale, with an estimated standard drug price of P6,800.

Another sachet of believed to be shabu with a substantial estimated Standard Drug Price of P 238,000, and P9,000 boodle money.

Tingoy is now in police custody and will face charges for violation of the Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
