Davao City – Some 100 entries are expected to see action in the 2026 Swing for Friendship Golf at the South Pacific Golf Club Davao on 31 July.
Tee off shotgun start will be at 6:30 a.m. according to South Pacific Golf Club golf director Tommy Inigo at the weekly Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum.
According to Inigo, what is new in this tournament will be the “Green-some” format wherein a two-man team will tee off, with the best ball from teeing off will be used on an alternate hit going to the green.
It will be open to Class A, B, C, D, Ladies and Seniors divisions with the awarding rites to be held at the clubhouse after the games.
