Davao City – The Snakehead Tri Team will head the local bets in the coming Damosa Land 5150 Triathlon and Sunrise Sprint this Sunday, 20 September at the Island Garden City of Samal.
Snakehead Tri Team will field 40 entries in the various age group competitions which makes them a heavy favorite in the one-day event organized by Sunrise Events and Damosa Land.
“We will do our best to compete. We spent time and effort on this during our training,” said Snakehead Tri Team member Jeff Ryan Lozano on Thursday’s 17 September Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum.
The Damosa Land 5150 Triathlon will have a 1.5 kilometer swim, 40 kilometer bike and 10 kilometer run on an out and back course starting at the Damosa Bridgeport while the Sunrise Sprint will cover half of the race route.
The event will also have the Coral Dash which starts at the main gate of Bridgeport, heads out along Samal Circumferential Road towards Costa Azalea, then turns around at 2.6 kilometers in front of the Costa Azalea main gate before making the run back to Bridgeport for the finish.
