THE 10TH INFANTRY Division (10ID) has deployed security personnel and quick reaction teams across key areas in its area of responsibility to ensure a safe and orderly observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.

In coordination with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and local government agencies, 10ID troops are providing public safety assistance and crowd management at major cemeteries and memorial parks expected to draw large crowds.

Specialized quick reaction teams (QRTs) have also been placed on standby for immediate deployment if needed.

10ID commander MGEN Alvin Luzon stated that the holiday deployment reflects the military’s broader mandate to support civilian authorities and safeguard local communities.

“Our presence during Undas is a reminder that the Army remains committed to serving and protecting our communities in every situation,” Luzon said. “We are here not only to help maintain peace and order but also to ensure that families can honor their departed loved ones with peace of mind.”

The 10ID officials urged the public to cooperate with security forces at cemetery checkpoints, follow local regulations, and report any suspicious activity to authorities immediately.
