THE REFORM Alliance for Accountability, Good Governance, and Ethics (RAGE) Coalition marked its entry into Mindanao with a massive show of force on Saturday, May 23, 2026, drawing thousands of supporters to the Davao Convention Center.
Led by Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte, who serves as the alliance’s national convenor, the gathering consolidated political allies, youth organizations, and grassroots delegates from various provinces across the Mindanao region.
The multi-sectoral coalition has continued its rapid nationwide expansion, positioning itself as a unified front dedicated to defending Vice President Sara Duterte against what organizers characterize as persistent, politically motivated onslaughts from the administration.
During the event, Mayor Duterte delivered a fiery address dissecting the country’s current political climate, urging the opposition and its regional base to maintain tight solidarity in the face of escalating political fractures.
Social media coverage and video broadcasts from the venue showed a packed auditorium, with attendees waving banners, chanting slogans, and demonstrating a heavy wave of support for the Duterte family.
The Mindanao rollout follows a series of heavily attended RAGE Coalition assemblies previously staged across major hubs in Luzon and the Visayas earlier this year.
