THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) tightened security protocols and operational readiness at Poblacion Market Central along C. Bangoy Street on Sunday, Oct. 25, ahead of major regional events hosted in the city.

DCPO director PCOL Peter Bauzon Madria and San Pedro Police Station (PS 2) commander PMAJ Robel Saavedra conducted a security assessment at the commercial establishment.

Madria met with PMC head security officer Crisvic España to coordinate surveillance, crowd control, and joint safety measures in preparation for the Mindanao Development Forum 2026 and the Farmers and Mindanao Indigenous Peoples Trade Expo 2026.

Police officials stated that the heightened police presence and inter-agency coordination aim to ensure public safety as foot traffic is expected to increase during the upcoming trade events.
