THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) launched the observance of the 34th National Children’s Month on November 5, 2026, reinforcing institutional commitments to child protection and community welfare.

DCPO director PCOL Peter Bauzon Madria, alongside 2nd District Councilor Richlyn N. Justol-Baguilod and key regional officers, spearheaded the kick-off ceremony at the DCPO gymnasium.

This year’s celebration carries the theme, “Manindigan, Tumugon at Kumalinga sa Batang Handa, Mas Ligtas ang Bansa,” emphasizing the collective responsibility of families, law enforcement, and local government units in safeguarding the younger generation.

During the program, organizers highlighted the importance of upholding children’s rights, raising awareness against child exploitation, and empowering youth as active contributors to nation-building.

The DCPO reiterated its resolve to maintain a nurturing, safe environment for children across Davao City through sustained community engagement and protective policing initiatives.
