THE PHILIPPINE Statistics Authority – Regional Statistical Services Office XI (PSA RSSO XI) announces the conduct of the November 2026 round of the Labor Force Survey (LFS). This is part of the continuing nationwide effort of the PSA to generate timely and reliable statistics on the country’s labor market.
The LFS is a regular survey of households designed to collect information on the demographic and socio-economic characteristics of the population. It provides vital data that serves as the basis for understanding the current employment situation in the country, including how many Filipinos are working, unemployed, or not part of the labor force.
Results from the survey are used to generate key employment indicators such as labor force participation rate, employment rate, and unemployment rate. These indicators help government agencies, policymakers, and stakeholders in crafting informed plans, programs, and policies that support economic development and improve the welfare of Filipino workers.
For November 2026, the enumeration period will be conducted from 09 to 28 November 2026. During this period, trained PSA interviewers will visit selected sample households to conduct face-to-face interviews. The PSA assures respondents that all information collected will be kept strictly confidential in accordance with Section 26 of Republic Act No. 10625.
The PSA encourages all selected households to actively participate and provide accurate and truthful information to ensure reliable and meaningful survey results.
