BUTUAN CITY — Maxim Rides & Food Delivery has introduced new car service rates in Butuan City, expanding transportation options for residents and visitors. As Butuan City serves as a gateway to many tourist destinations in Mindanao, Maxim Butuan aims to provide affordable, reliable, and convenient transportation for Butuanons and tourists alike.
Passengers can choose between Car 4-seater, with a base fare of PHP 65, and Car 6-seater, with a base fare of PHP 75. Both services feature air-conditioned vehicles operated by legally operating driver-partners. Fares are displayed once the pickup and destination addresses are entered and remain unchanged regardless of traffic conditions, allowing passengers to plan their travel expenses in advance.
“These new rates give Butuan residents more flexibility in choosing a car service that suits their travel needs. We also aim to create more earning opportunities for local driver-partners while helping meet the city’s transportation needs,” said Reynante Santos, Head of Maxim Butuan.
Vehicle owners can also join the platform as driver-partners, with commission rates ranging from 5% to 18%. They can set their own working hours, making the service an option for those seeking either a primary source of income or additional earnings.
Maxim prioritizes trip safety by displaying driver and vehicle details on the booking screen, allowing passengers to identify their assigned driver. The trip route and vehicle location are also visible on a map. Drivers and passengers can communicate through the app without sharing their personal phone numbers. In emergencies, both can use the SOS button to contact Maxim’s support team.
Maxim holds a Transportation Network Vehicle Service (TNVS) license and offers car services at competitive rates in Cebu, Manila, Tagbilaran, Tacloban, Iloilo, Iligan, General Santos, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, Ormoc, and Bacolod. With the addition of Butuan City, residents and visitors can now book car rides through Maxim alongside its existing delivery services.
