THE CALINAN Police Station has arrested a top-level drug personality and seized approximately P238,000 worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation on Sept. 13, 2025, in Barangay Calinan Poblacion.
The operation, led by Major Robel Saavedra, station commander of Calinan Police Station, resulted in the apprehension of alias Dong.
Davao City Police Office spokesperson Capt Hazel Tuazon identified the suspect as a Top 10 city-level high-value individual (HVI) on their drug target list.
According to Acting City Director Col Mannan Muarip, the operation was conducted at 4:08 p.m. near the corner of Davao-Bukidnon Road and Guiho Street.
The confiscated items included several sachets of suspected shabu.Muarip emphasized that a unified effort is essential to building a drug-free and secure Davao City.
