MANILA, Philippines— EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Philippines is marking its 11th anniversary in September. The organization, which employs more than 6,000 professionals across Manila and Cebu, is planning to add approximately 2,000 more people over the next two to three years.
Since its establishment in 2015, EY GDS Philippines has grown into a strategic delivery and talent hub for the global EY organization. Its teams support EY member firms and clients around the world across assurance, consulting, tax, and core business services.
Over the past 11 years, EY GDS Philippines has grown in scale and innovation. As the next phase of growth unfolds, EY GDS Philippines expects to see increased demand for assurance and technology consulting services, alongside continued expansion in artificial intelligence (AI), data, cybersecurity, digital engineering, enterprise platforms and other technology-focused capabilities.
“EY GDS Philippines has evolved into a leading talent, delivery and innovation hub since its establishment 11 years ago. Our strategic expansion, the launch of the Cebu Cybersecurity center and continued development of new capabilities reflect how far we have come,” said Dench Decino, EY GDS Philippines Location Leader. “In the next two to three years, we will continue to invest in Filipino talent as we plan to add approximately 2,000 professionals. Cebu has become an important part of this growth story. The center continues to expand as a hub for technology-led services, reinforced by the launch of the EY GDS Cebu Cybersecurity center, which strengthens cybersecurity and digital capabilities while creating high-value technology careers in the region. That expansion is being matched by a parallel focus on building the talent needed to sustain it.
Through its GDS Academia program, EY GDS Philippines continues to strengthen university partnerships across the country, including collaborations in Metro Manila and Cebu. These initiatives connect classroom learning with real-world business and technology skills, helping to prepare students for careers and experience opportunities.
Notably, the organization’s industry-academe work was recognized at the 2026 Cebu IT-BPM Organization (CIBO) Industry Awards, where EY GDS Philippines received the Industry-Academe Partnership Excellence award. It continues to invest in professional development, learning, leadership formation, inclusiveness and future-ready skills for its people.
This focus on future-ready talent is particularly important in Assurance, one of the service lines expected to contribute significantly to the organization’s next phase of hiring.
