THE 10TH Infantry Division (10ID) intensified its Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) operations from Feb. 20 to 21, 2026, spearheading relief distribution across three municipalities in the Caraga and Davao regions.
Troops from the 10ID augmented local government units (LGUs) and disaster response agencies to ensure the orderly delivery of essential aid to families displaced in Trento, Agusan del Sur; Bislig City, Surigao del Sur; and Cateel, Davao Oriental.
In Trento, soldiers facilitated the distribution of 186 relief packs to residents of Barangays Manat, Kapatungan, San Isidro, and San Roque.
The mission was conducted in close coordination with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO).

In Bislig City, personnel provided logistical support at an evacuation center in Barangay Tabon, assisting families who sought shelter due to the recent shear line.
In Cateel, 10ID troops partnered with the MSWDO and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) to deliver humanitarian aid to evacuees from several flood-hit barangays.
Major General Alvin Luzon, Commander of the 10ID, emphasized that the Division remains on high alert and is fully committed to sustaining HADR efforts throughout its area of responsibility.
“Our troops will continue to support local government units and partner agencies to ensure that assistance reaches those who need it most. We remain ready to respond wherever our presence is required,” Maj. Gen. Luzon stated.
The 10th Infantry Division reaffirms its mandate to serve as a responsive and mission-focused force, prioritizing the safety and security of affected communities in the region.
