- RTWPB XI to conduct public hearing for private employers
THE REGIONAL Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board XI has scheduled a public hearing to determine the new round of wage adjustments for private sector workers and domestic help in the region.
The hearing is set simultaneously in-person at Grand Regal Hotel or virtually via Zoom from 1 to 5 p.m. on Feb. 13, 2026.
“RTWPB-XI is inviting all interested parties to attend the public hearing. The input of our stakeholders is important in the process of minimum wage determination,” the RTWPB XI announced on Wednesday, Jan. 28.
Those who want to attend virtually are advised to pre-register using the link to receive the Zoom meeting link and information.
Parties intending to submit position papers must do so on or before Feb. 9, 2026, at the RTWPB-XI Office at Upper Ground Floor, Parking Building, Bormaheco Compound, J.P. Laurel, Davao City. They may also send the position papers to rtwpbi@yahoo.com.
RTWPB XI is mandated under Republic Act No. 6727, or known as The Wage Rationalization Act, to periodically assess wage rates and conduct continuing studies to determine the minimum wage applicable in the region or industry.
Wage Order No. RB XI-23 states that all minimum wage earners in the private sector are entitled to receive an additional P29 daily, which took effect on March 7, 2025.
The current daily minimum wage in the region for non-agriculture is P510, and P505 for the agriculture sector.
