MANILA – Singapore-headquartered Beyond Medical Group (BMG) and Philippine media platform CHiNOY TV have formalised a healthcare partnership aimed at strengthening health education, community engagement and connections between healthcare communities in Singapore and the Philippines.
The partnership brings together BMG’s network of Singapore medical specialists and CHiNOY TV’s community and media reach in the Philippines. It will focus on public health education, specialist forums and professional exchanges, while providing information and coordination support for individuals considering specialist medical opinions in Singapore.
Five Singapore specialists from BMG flew to Manila, specifically for the launch and signing ceremony: Dr Aneez DB Ahmed, Senior Thoracic Surgeon; Dr Benjamin Yip, Senior Gastroenterologist; Dr Devinder Singh, Senior Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist; Dr Joshua Loh, Senior Interventional Cardiologist; and Dr Sein Lwin, Senior Neurosurgeon.
During an interactive fireside chat, guests spoke directly with the specialists on heart, digestive, lung, and neurological health, treatment options, prevention, and when to seek specialist attention.
“Healthcare conversations should be practical and accessible. When people are comfortable asking questions, they are better able to understand their options and make informed decisions about their health,” said Ms Priscila Zhang, Partner and Director of Singapore Operations at CHiNOY TV.
The partnership will also establish BMG’s representative office in Manila, to be operated by a CHiNOY TV subsidiary. Renovation is underway, with the office expected to open in January 2027. It will assist with general information, appointments and coordination for individuals exploring specialist care in Singapore.
“This is about building a meaningful healthcare bridge between Singapore and the Philippines,” said BMG CEO Ms Elayne Soh. “We want to go beyond patient referrals by bringing specialists closer to communities, sharing reliable health information and encouraging people to seek appropriate care early.”
For CHiNOY TV CEO Mr Alvin Kingson Tan, the initiative carries personal significance.
“Having walked through my late wife’s cancer journey with her, I understand how important timely access to the right oncologist and specialist team can be. That experience inspired my advocacy and the creation of a healthcare channel through CHiNOY TV, where families can find reliable information, ask the right questions and seek appropriate support when they need it.”
From 2027, both organisations plan to introduce specialist forums, community health talks, corporate wellness programmes, digital health content and professional exchanges covering heart, digestive and lung health, cancer care, neurological and spinal conditions, prevention and early detection.
The partners also welcome healthcare, corporate and community organisations to participate in future initiatives.
