ENTHUSIASTS gathered for a meaningful day of competition and fellowship during the 1st Fairway Buddies Golf Tournament for a Cause, held on June 26, 2026, at South Pacific Golf & Leisure Estate.
Organized to benefit the hardworking caddies of South Pacific Golf, the event successfully combined sportsmanship with community service.
Golfers from different divisions competed for top honors while supporting a worthy cause. Kreb Escarba emerged as the overall gross champion, while Andhe Gonzales claimed the overall net champion title. Division champions included Seth Santos (Class A Gross), Jed Digal (Class A Net), Fred Albarillo (Class B Gross), Ian Maningo (Class B Net), Kenzo Sia (Class C Gross), Ret. Gen. Dennis Nazaire (Class C Net), Cha Domingo (Ladies Gross), and Fe Hasiak (Ladies Net).


The tournament was spearheaded by event director Romy Celecious, whose leadership and dedication helped make the inaugural event a success. Participants, sponsors, and organizers expressed their gratitude for the overwhelming support, emphasizing that the tournament was not only about winning trophies but also about giving back to the golf community.
With the success of its inaugural staging, the Fairway Buddies Golf Tournament is expected to become an annual tradition promoting camaraderie, excellence in golf, and meaningful community outreach.
