THE POLICE Regional Office (PRO) XI is stepping up preparations for Undas 2026, mobilizing its full force to ensure an orderly observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day across the Davao Region.
On Oct. 21, PRO XI acting regional director PBGEN Benigno L. Guzman, alongside deputy regional director for operations PCOL James M. Cipriano, regional operations division chief PCOL Solomon A. De Castilla, and the commanders of the San Pedro and Ma-a police stations, inspected Wireless Public Cemetery and Davao Memorial Park to evaluate site readiness, traffic deployment, and officer positioning.
Following the security assessment, full police deployment and real-time situational reporting will take effect from Oct. 29 to Nov. 3, 2026, to maximize police visibility and ensure immediate response capabilities throughout the holiday.
Police assistance desks will be set up in cemeteries, memorial parks, and columbaria to assist visitors and handle emergencies. PNP personnel will also be stationed along major thoroughfares leading to burial sites to manage traffic and assist pedestrian flow.
In addition, PRO XI is strengthening coordination with local government units and partner agencies to provide special assistance to vulnerable sectors, particularly senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs).
Guzman emphasized the need for proactive readiness and public cooperation to preserve peace and order. He urged the public to follow cemetery regulations and local ordinances, secure their personal belongings, and cooperate with security personnel at inspection checkpoints.
