Operatives of Police Station 5 (Buhangin), under the leadership of station commander PMAJ Clarian Dave S. Toboso, coordinated with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency XI to arrest the suspect.

Confiscated were several plastic sachets containing approximately 47.1 grams of suspected shabu (Methamphetamine hydrochloride), with an estimated value of ₱320,280, along with one .38 caliber revolver.

The arrested suspect and confiscated evidence were turned over to the Buhangin Police Station for proper documentation and disposition.

Formal criminal charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) are being prepared for filing in court through inquest proceedings.

Davao City Police Office (DCPO) director PCOL Peter Bauzon Madria commended the Buhangin police operatives and PDEA XI for the successful joint operation.

Madria reaffirmed the DCPO’s commitment to sustaining intelligence-driven anti-illegal drug operations and a strict campaign against loose firearms to maintain peace and order across Davao City.
