THE PUBLIC Employment Service Office (PESO), in partnership with Councilor Temujin “Tek” Ocampo, will conduct the Araw ng Dabaw Job Fair on March 11, 2026, at 7:30 a.m. at SM City Davao, offering 1,568 job vacancies from 24 local employers across different industries.
Job seekers can explore opportunities across various sectors, with the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and customer support sectors offering the largest number of openings, with 701 vacancies, including customer service support (286), technical support experts (100), and sales representatives (315).
Retail and sales positions follow with 366 opportunities, covering cashiers (10), sales clerks (30+), store managers or supervisors (11+), baggers (50), customer assistants (50), field or route sales staff and telesales agents (13), and operations management trainees (108).
Meanwhile, the hospitality and food service sector provides 49 vacancies, including F&B servers (15), cooks (13), room and laundry attendants (7), receptionists (7), bartenders or baristas (3), and pool attendants or lifeguards (4).
“For fresh graduates and those who are looking for jobs, especially those searching for suitable employment and those seeking opportunities to work abroad,” Ocampo said.
Opportunities are also available in construction and technical services, with 37 vacancies, including multi-skilled or aircon technicians (16), engineers in electrical and civil fields (8), plumbers and STP operators (5), mechanics and machine operators (3), laboratory technicians (4), and draftsmen (1).
Corporate and administrative positions offer 97 vacancies, including accounting staff (29), human resources personnel (9), administrative assistants (5), marketing and e-business specialists (14), compliance and safety officers (38), and IT infrastructure and software analysts (2).
The logistics, maintenance, and general labor sector provides 216+ vacancies, covering drivers (25), stock clerks (36+), housekeeping staff (12+), utilities workers (82), production workers such as parers, deshellers, and drillers (50), and facility maintenance personnel (11).
Education and healthcare positions offer 17+ vacancies, including faculty members for SHS, college, general education, and computer science programs, administrative and registrar associates (5+), pharmacy staff including managers, pharmacists, and assistants (10), and company nurses (2).
