THE DAVAO Ramadan Fair: Barakah Nights & Bazaar officially opens its doors on Feb. 19, transforming Davao City into a vibrant halal hub throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
Hosted by Handala Project in collaboration with Niza’s BBQ House, this month-long initiative aims to create an inclusive halal oasis where faith, community, and commerce unite.
Ramadan is a sacred month observed by Muslims worldwide, marked by fasting, prayer, reflection, and generosity. Barakah Nights & Bazaar brings these values to life through a communal iftar space, a dedicated prayer area, enriching talks, and a vibrant mix of halal food, modest fashion, crafts, and specialty vendors.
Beyond celebration, the fair carries a strong humanitarian mission. Profits generated will fund free iftar meals for underserved Muslim communities in Davao and extend vital support — including iftar assistance and humanitarian aid — to families in Gaza.
“Our vision is to build a space where people can nourish not only their bodies, but also their souls — and at the same time uplift communities locally and globally,” organizers shared.
By combining faith, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility, the Davao Ramadan Fair stands as a testament to the spirit of Ramadan: unity, compassion, and meaningful action.
The fair runs nightly from February 19, 2026, until Eid al-Fitr (subject to moon sighting).
