THE 10TH Infantry Division (10ID) reaffirmed its commitment to regional peace and development during the 3rd Quarter Full Council Meeting of the Joint Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict XI (JRTF-ELCAC XI) held at the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) headquarters in Pryce Tower on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026.
10ID commander MGEN Alvin Luzon joined key leaders from government agencies, security forces, and regional stakeholders to tackle pressing peace initiatives, inter-agency convergence strategies, and emerging security concerns across Region XI.
A central focus of the meeting was the formulation of the CY 2027 JRTF-ELCAC XI Operational Plan, aimed at sustaining the region’s peace dividends and preventing the resurgence of insurgency.
During the proceedings, Luzon presented a Plaque of Recognition to MinDA, accepted by Secretary Leo Tereso Magno, for the agency’s steadfast partnership and consistent backing of peace, security, and economic development initiatives in the Davao Region.
With the sustained success of its internal security operations, the 10ID continues to shift its focus toward external security operations while maintaining active involvement in whole-of-government frameworks to foster a secure, peaceful, and resilient environment for Dabawenyos.
