A HIGH-VALUE target known as “Boss Kim” was arrested during a joint anti-illegal drug sting conducted by elite operatives along Bacaca Road, Barangay 19-B, on Sept. 23, 2026.
The 49-year-old suspect was collared at approximately 8:55 a.m. inside a condominium following a coordinated buy-bust operation by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency XI and the National Bureau of Investigation Southeastern Mindanao Regional Office.
According to the report, the suspect allegedly sold a heat-sealed transparent sachet containing suspected shabu —weighing roughly five grams with an estimated street value of ₱35,000—to an undercover operative acting as a poseur buyer.
Subsequent searches of the premises yielded a substantial cache of illicit substances with an estimated total street value of ₱375,000.
Seized evidences were four additional heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu of varying sizes, totaling approximately 50 grams; approximately four milliliters of suspected liquid marijuana oil; assorted illegal drug paraphernalia; and the marked buy-bust money used in the transaction.
PDEA XI regional director Atty. Benjamin G. Gaspi said, “Law enforcement authorities remain relentless in our efforts to apprehend those who continue to engage in illegal drug activities.”
He urged the public to stay vigilant and actively report suspicious drug syndicates operating within their neighborhoods.
The arrested suspect is currently in custody and facing formal criminal complaints for violations of Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
