CANCER remains one of the leading causes of death in the Philippines, with thousands of patients delaying or abandoning treatment due to cost. We Hope Medical Group is rewriting that reality.

SmartSave Chemotherapy Center, a subsidiary of We Hope Medical Group, is now open to serve its residents and the rest of the province of Rizal.

Mayor Rhea Ynares, Mayor Jun San Juan Jr., Vice Mayor Gil Pandac, Rizal 2nd District Representative Dino Tanjuatco III, Former Rizal Vice Governor and Rizal 2nd District Board Member Reynaldo San Juan Jr., and Morong Vice Mayor Joeven Condez graced the grand opening.

The center is located at Dr. Estacio Blvd., Brgy. San Roque, Cardona, is designed to provide a safe, compassionate, and patient-centered environment, staffed by licensed oncology doctors, equipped with modern treatment facilities. Services include free chemotherapy sessions covered by PhilHealth, cancer assistance fund, and other LGU programs, oncologist consultations, patient navigation, and education.

We Hope Medical Group’s expansion strategy focuses on high-need regions, ensuring that underserved communities—especially in provincial and rural areas—gain access to quality cancer treatment without financial burden.

The first wave of centers, including the Beacon of Hope branches in Pampanga, Marikina Chemotherapy Center, Beacon of Hope Naga, and Imus Chemotherapy Center, has already demonstrated the transformative impact of accessible cancer care. Patients who once faced overwhelming medical expenses now receive treatment in warm, dignified, and community-rooted facilities.

“ Our mission is simple but powerful. No Filipino should ever have to choose between financial survival and life-saving cancer treatment,” Dr. John Paul Aclan, DBA.

We Hope Medical Group highlights the groundbreaking leadership of Dr. John Paul Aclan, chairman and CEO, whose bold vision and unwavering commitment to accessible healthcare have redefined cancer care for Filipino families. Through his pioneering efforts, the organization has opened state-of-the-art chemotherapy centers in Metro Manila, Luzon, and soon in Visayas, offering free chemotherapy services to Filipinos.
