SEDA Abreeza Hotel in Davao City is eyeing a full relaunch in January 2026.
During the Business Matters forum on Friday, hotel manager Ken Kapulong revealed that they are fast-tracking the renovations as they prepare to report in the third week of January.
“We’re done with about 80% of the renovations, so the remaining 20% is fast already. So we’re expecting the remaining 20% by the end of the month,” Kapulong said.
He added, the final touches are expected to finish in late December.
“Definitely before Christmas or before the middle of December, Seda Abreeza will be fully opened and accept guests,” he said.
The hotel temporarily ceased operation in March this year to pave the way for the renovation
Seda Abreeza issued an advisory on its closure as part of its scheduled 6-month rehabilitation and upgrading last December 2024.
With the reopening, the hotel will feature fewer rooms as some units are converted into suites.
“We now have one-bedroom suites, which we never had before, so that’s one of the offerings of the renovation,” he said.
However, the rates will increase with the new and better rooms and facilities, not only a facelift but also the electrical parts.
A new food and beverage outlet called S-Bar will also be available on the ground floor.
“We want to enhance the accommodation and dining experience for the business segment, lifestyle, and staycation markets,” Kapulong stressed.
