THE POLICE Regional Office (PRO) XI held a debriefing ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 17, to formally welcome home police personnel after their successful election security deployment during the historic 2026 BARMM Parliamentary Elections.
Held at the PRO XI parade grounds in Buhangin, Davao City, the ceremony marked the end of the mission for the contingent sent to reinforce security operations across the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) for the region’s first regular parliamentary polls on Sept. 14.
During the activity, PRO XI director PBGEN Leon Victor Z. Rosete commended the troops for their discipline, neutrality, and professionalism while performing high-risk election duties away from their primary units.
The session also served as an operational review to assess field experiences, address operational challenges, and reinforce core guidelines on human rights, impartiality, and tactical readiness.
The debriefing aligns with PNP Director General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., emphasizing accountable, responsive, and professional police service under the campaign “Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman.”
