THE PNP Officers’ Ladies Club Foundation Inc. (PNP OLCFI) National Chapter, under the compassionate leadership and generous initiative of Mrs. Mary Rose Nartatez, adviser of PNP OLCFI, and the wife of the Acting PNP Chief Lt Gen Jose Melencio. Nartatez Jr. initiated the “LAB in Action Program: Offering Love and Care” for earthquake-affected personnel in Davao Oriental.
Through Mrs. Nartatez’s personal efforts in mobilizing and raising the needed funds, the National Chapter was able to extend meaningful financial assistance to PNP and NUP personnel severely affected by the recent 7.4-magnitude earthquake in the province.
The PNP OLCFI Davao Chapter successfully implemented the program at the Davao Oriental Police Provincial Office (DOPPO), ensuring the National Chapter’s support reached the intended beneficiaries. The activity was conducted in partnership with BGen Joseph R. Arguelles, director of Police Regional Office XI, and Col Ritchie S. Bucol, provincial director of DOPPO.
During the program, the OLCFI Davao Chapter–led by May L. Faco, president, and guided by Ma. Cristina D. Arguelles, adviser, other officers, and members–personally handed over donations to the beneficiaries, demonstrating the organization’s commitment to spreading love and kindness.
The gesture was met with heartfelt gratitude from the recipients, who expressed their thanks to PNP OLCFI National and PNP OLCFI Davao Chapter for their kindness and generosity. The “LAB in Action Program: Offering Love and Care” is a testament to the power of community and the impact that can be made when individuals and organizations come together to make a difference.
