LIPA CITY, BATANGAS – The City Government of Lipa on April 8, 2026 formally inaugurates its new City Hall, marking a significant milestone in the city’s continued growth and commitment to delivering efficient, future-ready public service. Located within Areza, Ayala Land’s masterplanned estate, the new facility establishes a modern seat of government at the heart of Lipa’s emerging city center.
Initiated and led by the local government, the new Lipa City Hall reflects the city’s vision to create a more accessible, integrated, and progressive civic environment for its constituents. The development was made possible through a partnership with Ayala Land, which serves as the host location for this important institutional landmark—anchoring what is envisioned to be Lipa’s next central business and civic district.
Designed to go beyond a traditional government complex, the new City Hall is designed by Royal Pineda and features open spaces, landscaped grounds, and pedestrian-friendly areas that foster community interaction and accessibility. Its configuration, composed of multiple structures symbolizing the city’s barangays, underscores inclusivity while promoting sustainability and resilience in urban design.

Reinforcing the long-term vision for the area, Gilbert Ramos, Areza Project Development Head, emphasized the strength of the collaboration between the private and public sectors. “This partnership with the Lipa City Government reflects a shared commitment to shaping a future-ready city center—one that brings together governance, business, and community in a thoughtfully-planned environment. Over the long term, we see Areza evolving alongside the city, supporting its growth by providing a strategic, integrated location for key institutions and economic activity,” Ramos said.
The new City Hall will have 23,000 sqm floor area that will house key administrative departments to streamline public service delivery and enabling residents to access essential services within a centralized and well-planned location. This will also house a performance hall, a 2,160 sqm plaza, and an annex building.
The establishment of the City Hall further strengthens Areza’s role as Lipa’s city center—a mixed-use estate envisioned to integrate civic, commercial, residential, and lifestyle components in a cohesive environment. As one of its first major institutional anchors, the City Hall is expected to catalyze increased investments, drive business activity, and generate employment opportunities in the area.
Complementary developments within Areza, including planned commercial districts and open civic spaces, are set to support a vibrant and connected community where governance and everyday life converge seamlessly.
This milestone underscores the shared vision of the City Government of Lipa and Ayala Land: to build a future-ready city center where public service, economic growth, and quality of life come together.
