FORD Davao officially held a grand launch event for the company’s brand-new variants “Ford Everest Platinum” and “Ford Ranger Wildtrak X” on Sept. 12, 2026, at SM Ecoland’s Annex Event Center.
Ford Philippines’ latest lineup of new vehicles comes to Mindanao, bringing in higher power and performance, premium exterior style, luxurious interior comfort, and a superb audio system.
Everest Platinum has a 3L V6 turbo engine with 250ps, making it the most powerful in its class. Selected drive modes include mud/ruts and sand mode, suited for those who want a robust car with more capabilities and a luxurious design fit for cruising cities.
Ranger Wildtrak X also contains a similar engine to the Everest Platinum with a 3.5ton towing capacity. Its target market is for those who are looking for better performance built for off-road use and carrying cargo.
Both are designed with Ford’s finest exteriors, ranging from lights and wheels to roof rails and other essential parts for durability.
Top-quality comfort interiors are also fitted for long drives and convenience, along with high-end audio technology delivering immersive sound through its speakers.
Everest Platinum costs P2,849,000 while Ranger Wildtrak X is at P2,609,00 with a selection of different premium colors for customers to choose.
The launch also features other variants from the Everest and Ranger classes, each with its own pricing, that are available on the official Ford Philippines website.
In an interview with Jam Quindoy, assistant vice president and general manager for Ford Mindanao, she said the brand ranks in the top four of one of the leading automotive markets in Mindanao and has maintained a strong presence with key showrooms held in Davao City.
She also believes that traditional gasoline cars are still dominant in Mindanao, as the region is still not ready for infrastructure such as charging stations for the emerging electric vehicles (EVs).
