LOCAL entrepreneurs and merchants gathered on February 23, 2026, at Blue Lotus Hotel in Davao City for an insightful e-commerce event organized by Loud Local, a marketing agency committed to helping VisMin brands expand their digital presence to reach wider markets and the first and only full-service marketing agency for TikTok Shop in Mindanao.
The event brought together 52 attendees, representing key local brands as well as micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), fostering a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere.
Anchored on its mission to make local brands louder, sharper, and more relevant in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, Loud Local, invited TikTok Shop to share valuable insights on the growing impact of e-commerce in today’s modern marketplace.
TikTok Shop highlighted how businesses can leverage its dynamic ecosystem to turn content into conversions, emphasizing the importance of creating engaging, relevant, and strategic content that transforms viewers into customers.
A mini-workshop on crafting compelling live selling scripts was also conducted, equipping local merchants with actionable techniques to effectively showcase their products and boost their online sales performance. TikTok Shop representatives not only gave local brands a deeper understanding of how the platform works, but also inspired attendees to succeed in social commerce.
The event was also attended by Willenito Tormis Jr., Davao City Tourism Operations Office acting head, who emphasized the continued growth of the city’s business sector. He encouraged local entrepreneurs to foster a collaborative and healthy business environment where enterprises can grow sustainably and succeed together.
Closing the program was Engr. Franz Nylon, City Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office officer of the City Government of Tagum. He expressed confidence that strengthened partnerships between Loud Local and TikTok Shop will open greater opportunities for brands in Davao and Tagum to gain national and even global recognition.
