THE CITY Transport and Traffic Management Office released traffic plans for the commemoration of All Souls’ Day and All Saints’ Day.
“Kadtong mga plano mubisita sa atong gihigugma sa kinabuhi na nipanaw na. Malinawon kita na mubisita. Ug wala nay mas malinawon kung musubay ta sa maong traffic plan ug dili magpabadlong sa dalan,” CTTMO said.
Davao Memorial Park
For Davao Memorial Park, the sidewalk lane is provided for the pedestrians going inside the memorial park, hence vendors are prohibited from displaying.
Vendors are placed in front (northbound) of Davao Memorial Park.
All vehicles going to the memorial park are advised to use Tulip Drive, Orchid St., or Sampaguita St., Durian St., and turn left to MacArthur Highway.
The outermost lane along MacArthur Highway going south will be utilized only for vehicles going into Davao Memorial Park, while the two inner lanes are provided for vehicles going south.
Vehicles coming out from Davao Memorial Park will observe no left turn; instead, take the right and use Quimpo Blvd.
Meanwhile, all utility buses coming from Ma-a Rd. will utilize MacArthur Hwy-Sandawa-Quimpo Blvd, and no entry to all trucks coming from north going to south, instead, use C.P.Garcia Hwy or Quimpo Blvd.
The loading and unloading area is designated along the portion after Alexian Brothers.
San Pedro, Forest Lake, Orchard Memorial Park, Masonic, Wireless, Catholic cemetery
In these areas, a one-way vehicular traffic will be observed from Fr. Selga St. (Cor. F Torres) to Circumferential Rd. (Sarenas St.) cor. Jade St.
Meanwhile, vehicles going to San Pedro Memorial and/or Forest Lake are advised to take Jade St., turn left onto Turquoise St.
A regulated no-entry from Fr. Selga St., corner Circumferential Road, going to the Catholic Cemetery will be observed.
On the other hand, all vehicles going to Forest Lake Cemetery may use San Rafael St. (Gold St.) Silver St.-Copper St.
A “No Parking policy” will be implemented in the areas fronting the vicinity of all cemeteries along Circumferential Rd.
Chinese Cemetery
For the Chinese Cemetery, vehicles coming from Bacaca Road going to the cemetery are advised to take J.P. Laurel Ave right turn to DMSF(Gahol St.) and right turn to Circumferential Road (Sarenas St.).
A one-way vehicular traffic will be observed along Sarenas Rd. from cor. Gahol St. to cor. Bacaca Rd. 2.
A “No parking policy” will be implemented in the vicinity of the Chinese Cemetery (Circumferential Rd.)
Buhangin Memorial Park
For Buhangin Memorial Park, a one-way vehicular traffic along the stretch of Cabantian Rd. from Buhangin Milan to cor. Mamay Rd. will be observed.
The vehicles going to the memorial park are advised to take CP. Garcia Hwy to Buhangin/Milan to Cabantian/Indangan Rd.
A “No entry” policy will be observed along Cabantian-Jehovah Rd. towards Buhangin Memorial Park, instead vehicles can take Mamay Ext., right turn to C.P.Garcia Hwy, right turn to Buhangin Rd.
Parking in front of the vicinity of Buhangin Memorial Park along Cabantian Rd. is prohibited.
CTTMO will place traffic advisories and signage in visible areas to guide motorists and the visiting public.
