Empowering learners, one school building at a time.

True to this vision, SM Prime and SM Foundation turned over a new two-storey, four-classroom school building to Suaybaguio–Riña Elementary School in Magugpo North, Tagum City on October 16.

The fully furnished facility includes modern learning spaces designed to ensure the safety, inclusivity, and comfort of students and teachers. Each classroom features wood-steel armchairs, teacher’s tables, panoramic whiteboards, fans, clocks, and emergency lighting.

The building also features a fire alarm bells, a PWD-friendly restrooms accessible via a ramp, a 10-faucet handwashing station, and an overhead water tank to ensure proper hygiene. Complemented by a PTA room, faculty room, mini-library, and storage rooms, the facility fosters a safe, inclusive, and comfortable learning environment for students and teachers.

In Mindanao, the SM Group also turned over in August a school building to Sta. Filomena Central School in Iligan City.

With the Suaybaguio–Riña Elementary School project as its 113th nationwide, the Foundation continues to build pathways for learning and community growth.
