THE PHILIPPINE Statistics Authority–Regional Statistical Services Office XI (PSA RSSO XI), headed by OIC-regional director Baby Jean P. Alid, recently conducted a National ID Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Campaign during the Yusay Credit and Finance Corporation 2026 Manager’s Conference at Acacia Hotel, Davao City, on Jan. 23, 2026.
During the event, Registration Officer III Getto M. Pangandoyon discussed the benefits of integrating the National ID System with credit and finance corporations.
He emphasized that this integration enables institutions to verify borrower identities more quickly and accurately, significantly reducing the risk of identity fraud and fraudulent loan applications. It also streamlines onboarding and loan approval processes, resulting in improved service efficiency.
