THE JAIRO Institute of Technology (JIT) sealed a partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority XI to expand Information Technology-related programs in the institution.

Jairo now offers TESDA-accredited programs like Computer Servicing NCII, Web Development with Bubble.io, and short-term IT training, all focusing on capacitating the students’ digital skills and computer service expertise.

Mary Grace Garcia, Jairo’s program manager and SAFe trainer, underscored that the company’s partnership with TESDA could open opportunities for the locals and grow the IT industry.

“It was really a big opportunity for the market because, for example, on TESDA programs, these new programs in the market, we are really focusing on the different roles of different industries. For example the IT market, we provide the training for them,” Garcia said.

Meanwhile, JIT emphasized its AI-powered no-code-no-code system capability of Bubble AI, highlighting the convenience of generating applications and websites without undergoing the complexities of the coding process.

Engr. Karl Jordan P. Cacumban, SAFe project manager, debunked the threats associated with AI usage, noting that AI is only an assistant and not a replacement for the human workforce.

“AI is only an assistant, not a replacement. It helps us to learn fast and optimize our work,” Cacumban stated.
