A NEW anti-corruption movement, BARUG Layko (Bayanihang Layko for Accountability, Reform, and Upright Governance), was formally launched on the afternoon of Wednesday, Dec. 10, at the San Pedro Cathedral auditorium in Davao City.

BARUG Layko, an organization spearheaded by Catholic lay ministers, aims to actively fight against corruption and promote ethical governance.

During the launch, group members repeatedly chanted: “Marcos Resign.”
