THE CHAMBER of Cosmetics Industry of the Philippines, Inc. (CCIP) is set to strengthen industry collaboration and elevate regulatory knowledge in Mindanao through CCIP Connect Mindanao, happening on May 21–22, 2026, at D’Leonor Hotel, Davao City.

Anchored on the theme “Your Path to Regulatory and Innovation Excellence,” the two-day seminar is designed to equip beauty industry stakeholders with essential knowledge on compliance, business growth, and innovation, which are key pillars in navigating today’s increasingly regulated and competitive landscape.

The event will bring together members, industry leaders, regulators, and professionals for a comprehensive learning experience covering critical topics such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sales promotion permits, ASEAN Cosmetic Directive (ACD) labeling and claims compliance, post-marketing surveillance, brand protection, the Internet Transactions Act, export services, and a formulation workshop under the segment “Beauty by Design.”

“CCIP Connect Mindanao empowers growth and inspires innovation by bringing together members, industry leaders, and professionals, fostering stronger networks, knowledge sharing, and new opportunities for our expanding membership in the region,” said Dr. Janina Gutierrez-Tan, president of CCIP.

With Mindanao emerging as a key growth area for the beauty and personal care industry, the initiative reflects CCIP’s continued commitment to expanding its reach and supporting regional stakeholders through accessible, high-value programs.

“On behalf of our Board of Trustees, I am pleased to invite you to CCIP Connect Mindanao, a forum on regulatory updates, industry innovations, and business opportunities in the Mindanao cosmetics sector. Your participation will be invaluable in connecting with industry leaders, regulators, and professionals shaping the Philippine cosmetics industry,” said Eileen Marie Ng, event chairman.

Participants can expect not only in-depth discussions but also opportunities for direct engagement through a panel Q&A with speakers, allowing attendees to gain clarity on pressing regulatory concerns and industry challenges.

The seminar is open to CCIP members and non-members, including brand owners, manufacturers, regulatory teams, online sellers, and aspiring entrepreneurs in the beauty industry. Registration fees are Php 2,000 for members and Php 3,000 for non-members, inclusive of meals and a certificate of attendance.

CCIP Connect Mindanao is held in partnership with RDL and supported by industry partners, including H&E Manufacturing Corporation, Heliochem Corporation, and EMC Environmental Corporation.
