THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) brought community policing straight to the uplands on Sept. 16, spearheading a Road Safety Info-Drive and Feeding Program at Datu Timawa Elementary School located in Purok 7, Sitio Kapatagan, Barangay Gumitan, Marilog District.
DCPO director PCOL Peter B. Madria personally graced the outreach activity, which drew enthusiastic participation from local parents, schoolchildren, and community members.
The program featured specialized discussions centered on road safety awareness, equipping students and parents with vital knowledge to navigate travel safety in the mountainous district.
Beyond the educational seminar, the event fostered a festive and supportive atmosphere through a community food feeding activity and lively student talent showcases.
Organized through the collaborative efforts of the DCPO, the school administration, and partner stakeholders, the initiative underscored a shared dedication to community welfare.
