A LOCAL beauty and wellness brand has expanded its corporate social responsibility initiatives with the launch of the Lady Boss Beyond Beauty Scholarship Program, enrolling its first college scholar from its own frontline staff.
Florame Bayer, chief executive officer of Lady Boss, shared the announcement on social media, revealing that Janine Dura—an aesthetician at the clinic and the daughter of a solo parent—has officially enrolled in college under full funding from the company.
Bayer stated that the company will shoulder Dura’s educational expenses until she completes her degree.
“Ever since I started Lady Boss, I always believed that our purpose should go beyond helping people become more beautiful,” Bayer said. “I dreamed of building something that could also change lives.”

Through the CSR program, Dura has officially enrolled for School Year 2027-2028 to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Social Work.
According to the establishment, the scholarship initiative was designed to assist deserving employees and community members who face financial barriers to higher education.
Before receiving the grant, Dura faced personal and economic constraints that put her tertiary studies on hold despite her academic determination.
“This is more than an enrollment; it is the beginning of a future she has worked so hard for,” the company stated in an official announcement, noting that her chosen degree in social work aligns with the program’s goal of fostering community development.
The brand emphasized that the educational grant is directly funded through client transactions and product sales, allowing patrons to contribute to local educational initiatives through their routine purchases.
“Every treatment availed and product purchased helps us give back to our community and create opportunities for deserving individuals like Janine,” the management added, reiterating its corporate philosophy that beauty services should extend toward social impact.
The initiative marks a milestone for the local enterprise as it integrates employee development and education support into its business model.
Bayer expressed gratitude to the clinic’s client base, noting that customer support directly enables the brand’s community outreach.
Looking ahead, the company aims to expand the program next year to accommodate more deserving scholars, cementing its commitment to empowering workers and giving back to the community.
