Makati City, Philippines — PNB Holdings Corporation (PHC) has expanded its sustainability initiatives through a strategic partnership with Rezbin, a multi-awarded, tech-enabled waste management company. The collaboration introduces EcoStation, PHC’s new waste-recycling program, designed to make responsible waste disposal simple, measurable, and accessible across its major properties.

Joselito R. Consunji, chief operating officer of PNB Holdings, emphasized that sustainability remains central to the company’s transformation roadmap.

“As a property developer and asset manager, it is our responsibility to build and operate in a way that uplifts communities and protects the environment,” Consunji said. “Our partnership with Rezbin demonstrates PHC’s commitment to responsible business practices. Beyond compliance, we want to take meaningful steps that encourage a culture of sustainability among our employees, tenants, and partners.”

EcoStation integrates Rezbin’s technology-enabled recycling system, which uses a behavior-driven, rewards-based model to encourage proper waste segregation. Rezbin’s platform promotes habit-forming recycling solutions designed to tackle the Philippines’ waste crisis through simple user experiences and incentive structures.

Through EcoStation, users follow a convenient three-step process: scan, snap, and toss. For every valid recycling drop-off, participants earn eco-points, which can be redeemed for rewards through the Rezbin app. The system also equips app administrators with real-time tracking dashboards, allowing them to monitor the volume and types of recyclables collected. This ensures transparent reporting, measurable environmental impact, and a more accountable waste management ecosystem within PHC-managed properties.

Rezbin co-founder and CEO Mari Martirez expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration.

“Rezbin was built on the belief that recycling should be simple, accessible, and impactful,” Martirez said. “Partnering with PNB Holdings allows us to bring our behavior-driven recycling system to major commercial properties. By using technology and incentives, we’re empowering PHC’s communities to adopt sustainable habits and contribute to real, measurable impact.”

The partnership forms part of PHC’s broader sustainability strategy, which includes improving waste management systems, reducing environmental footprint, and preparing forthcoming developments to be among the country’s most responsible and future-ready buildings.
