THE NAVAL Reserve Center Eastern Mindanao successfully concluded the Disaster Emergency Assistance and Response Training (DEART) Class 07 with a closing ceremony held in Malaybalay City on October 25.
The training was executed in collaboration with the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) Malaybalay.
Members of the 911th Marine Rifle Company Reserve participated in the intensive course, significantly honing their capabilities as first responders.
The program focused on practical skills vital for crisis management, including Disaster response protocol, Rescue operations techniques, and Life-saving procedures.
The Naval Reserve Center stated that the training completion is a milestone that “signifies not merely the culmination of their training, but the strengthening of preparedness, unity, and resilience” within the area of responsibility.
The reservists are now equipped to serve as competent and reliable first responders, reinforcing the collective capability to manage and mitigate the impact of future crises.
The command emphasized that through such collaborations, they stand “ever ready—stronger, smarter, and steadfast in service to the nation.”
