Design, heritage, and hospitality converge in the newest flagship rising in Dela Rosa Gardens

Makati City Ayala Land Premier introduces Laurean Residences, its newest flagship development in Makati — a testament to how design, heritage, and hospitality can come together to transform urban living. Laurean marks the evolution of Ayala Land Premier’s vision: creating homes that not only embody refinement, but also awaken a deeper connection to place and purpose.

Set within Dela Rosa Gardens, Laurean Residences is seamlessly linked to Makati’s underground and elevated walkways, placing art galleries, dining destinations, and lifestyle hubs within effortless reach. The estate’s pedestrian-friendly design allows residents to experience the city at human scale — connected to its rhythm, yet always able to retreat into calm.

Rising 65 stories, Laurean devotes more than half a hectare to amenities that evoke the spirit of a private club. From spa and wellness lounges to private dining and co-working areas, every space is envisioned as an extension of daily life — places where residents can unwind, connect, or simply breathe. Residences range from 72-square-metre suites to expansive two- and four-bedroom homes, with rare bi-level layouts offering both scale and intimacy.

At the heart of Laurean’s identity is its design story, shaped by acclaimed interior designer Joyce Wang, whose global portfolio includes The Berkeley in London, The Residences at Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, and Mott 32 in Cebu. For Laurean, Wang drew from three unexpected “protagonists” that guided the creative direction.

“There was a founder of Ayala Land who once compared development to a game of chess,” Wang shares. “One move leads to a bigger strategy. I found that so interesting — so we extracted that as a design language.”

From there, her team explored the geometry and discipline of the chessboard, pairing it with the spirit of aviation — a nod to the site’s past as an airfield and the precision and lightness of modern travel. Completing the triad is fashion, particularly the silhouettes and craftsmanship of local Manila designers, whose fluid draping and sculptural forms softened the structured geometry of the other elements.

“The chessboard gives you order. Aviation gives you lift. Fashion brings in emotion,” Wang reflects. “Together, they shape spaces that let you live as the best version of yourself.”

The result is a series of interiors that balance structure and fluidity, strength and grace. It’s a design language that transcends aesthetics — one that frames space as an enabler of possibility.

“My belief,” Wang adds, “is that space is so powerful, you don’t have to have much. You can make people feel so much.”

Laurean Residences embodies this philosophy — an urban sanctuary that invites calm, encourages connection, and celebrates a life well considered.

As Ayala Land Premier’s newest flagship, Laurean represents more than a home; it is a living narrative of heritage, innovation, and timeless design. For those seeking a sanctuary in the city’s heart, Laurean Residences offers an experience both grounded and elevated — a new definition of contemporary luxury.
