LEADING healthcare management solutions provider, The Intellicare Group, composed of Asalus Corporation (Intellicare), Aventus Medical Care Inc., and Avega Managed Care Inc., has entered a landmark strategic partnership with one of Japan’s leading companies, Mitsubishi Corporation, marking their continued growth and commitment to the healthcare industry in the country.
The groundbreaking partnership positions Intellicare and Avega as the only HMOs in the Philippines to currently have a strategic collaboration with Japanese companies under Mitsubishi Corporation’s global network.
The recent memorandum of understanding (MOU) signing was graced by Asalus Corporation (Intellicare) president Jeremy G. Matti; Avega Managed Care Inc. senior vice president & chief operating officer Jerico Dela Cruz; Aventus Medical Care Inc. vice president Dr. Sally Gaspar; and Mitsubishi Corporation general manager of Healthcare Department Yutaka Suzuki.
This alliance stems from Mitsubishi Corporation’s recent strategic investment in Fullerton Health, Intellicare Group’s parent company, which solidifies the collaborative effort in delivering innovative and data-driven healthcare solutions while expanding complementary business opportunities in the country and regional markets.
“Our partnership with Mitsubishi Corporation marks a new chapter of growth for Intellicare. We are excited and hopeful that this will bring us fruitful outcomes through our planned initiatives. We also hope this expands our partnerships, allowing for more companies and lives to experience the true meaning of our healthcare delivery,” said Matti.
Part of the initiatives includes the rollout of Intellicare’s comprehensive HMO solutions, educational workshops, third-party administration (TPA), clinic-based services, and fully customized healthcare structures tailored for Japanese enterprises operating in the Philippines.
Mitsubishi Corporation’s extensive network and Japan-derived healthcare intelligence will also assist the Intellicare Group in developing integrated services, cost optimization, and data-driven healthcare management to improve healthcare accessibility in the Philippines. Furthermore, the partnership seeks to expand collaborations with Japanese medical networks and health technologies to support long-term business growth and operational efficiency.
“We are proud to stand alongside a partner with such a distinguished history. By leveraging our complementary strengths, we are dedicated to building a data-driven platform that enables companies to manage medical costs more effectively and intelligently, while contributing to a more sustainable healthcare ecosystem in the country,” shared Suzuki.
“We thank Mitsubishi Corporation for their trust and respect in Intellicare. It is truly an honor. With our shared vision and synergy, it is our greatest hope that we will be able to achieve a meaningful impact in building something greater for the Philippines in the near future,” said Intellicare Group chairman Mario M. Silos.
Aligned with Intellicare’s Ripple of Care philosophy, the partnership with Mitsubishi Corporation is grounded in the shared belief that investing in employee health creates a multiplying impact, ultimately enhancing productivity, empowering organizations, and contributing to a more resilient and sustainable healthcare ecosystem in the Philippines.
