Verdon Parc is a 2.97-hectare resort-inspired condo community in Ecoland Drive, corner Peacock Street, Davao City.
TO ENSURE the continued safety of its residents, Quadruple A developer DMCI Homes regularly monitors and assesses the structural performance of Verdon Parc, its first condominium project in Davao City.
Local and international experts conduct periodic structural evaluations of all buildings within Verdon Parc using accelerograph readings.
Accelerographs record a building’s response during seismic events, providing engineers with valuable, data-driven insights into how the structures perform under real-world conditions.
These regular assessments help ensure that Verdon Parc’s main support structures remain well within safe limits and continue to perform as designed.
Among the independent third-party consultants that have been engaged by DMCI Homes in the past to monitor the structural performance of Verdon Parc are Davao-based AC PAMA Engineering Consultancy (ACPEC) and the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Bangkok, Thailand.
In 2020, DMCI Homes completed seismic enhancements across the four residential buildings of Verdon Parc following the high seismic activity in the Mindanao region.

The project was undertaken in close coordination with the Office of the City Building Official, the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, and Macro Consulting Structural Engineers Company, DMCI Homes’ principal consultant for the initiative.
Together, the teams worked to assess, plan, and carry out structural enhancements aimed at raising the earthquake resilience and life-safety performance of the buildings.
These continuing efforts to ensure the safety of residents reflect DMCI Homes’ unwavering commitment to quality homebuilding, a standard upheld through its rigorous internal quality assurance system.
Every DMCI Homes development undergoes rigorous inspection and testing under the supervision of its Quality Management Department (QMD), which implements the company’s proprietary 102-point inspection system.
This process includes physical inspection and testing at every phase of construction—from soil quality assessment and concrete strength testing to checking plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems—ensuring full compliance with both government standards and DMCI Homes’ own benchmarks.
