THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) conducted successive surprise inspections of deployed patrol officers across three major districts on Monday, June 1.
DCPO chief Colonel Peter B. Madria led the series of on-the-spot inspections and corrections, targeting patrollers of Police Station 9 (Tugbok), Police Station 10 (Calinan), and Police Station 20 (Los Amigos).
According to the DCPO, the operations are part of an intensified campaign to enforce strict personnel discipline, maximize tactical police visibility, and guarantee rapid response times to local crimes and emergencies.
During his field rounds, Madria reminded front-line patrollers of the critical role proactive policing plays in deterring criminal elements and earning public confidence.
He instructed personnel to remain highly alert yet approachable to residents to foster stronger community-police ties.
Madria also ordered adjacent patrol units to actively coordinate and familiarize themselves with each other’s positions to ensure seamless communication and quicker mobilization during interconnected law enforcement operations.
The DCPO stated that it will continue to sustain these unannounced capability evaluations and field supervision programs to ensure that personnel across the city remain highly disciplined and mission-ready.
